First of all, my name is Gabby. I'm an 18 years old Architecture Student living in Mexico (which means Spanish is my first language and my English isn't that perfect. Anyhow, I'm trying my best to improve it) I love design, I love colours, I love textures, that's why my main hobby is Fashion and my major is Architecture (and I would love to do my minor in Public Relations or Interior Design). Besides that, I'm huge Pilates lover, and I practice it at least twice a week. My interest for Fashion started when I was 13-14, and so my interest for blogging. That means that I had opened numerous blogs during the past 4-5 years. I discovered Tumblr, and I have been using this platform straight for 2 and a half years. Before that, I was so scared to write in a blog (that's why I found Tumblr perfect for my needs), but now I feel like I need to express myself, because sometimes runway images aren't enough. During this summer I tried to start my personal style blog. But now I'm back to school and unfortunately I can't wear my favorite clothes to school (working with x-actos, paint, different types of glues makes me think twice about wearing my best clothes to school). Besides, I have no time to take pictures of my outfits. So, last week, this idea came into my mind: Style Rhapsody.
Style Rhapsody: What's this? I realize that I style my outfits based in one piece: it could be some accessories, a pair of shoes, a dress, and from that, I start to build my outfit of the day. When you're in a hurry, you start to run out of ideas, and you're so desperate trying to know which trends fit perfectly for what you want to wear. So, I decided to help girls like me by creating a blog of how to style that awesome sneakers you bought the other day, but you barely use them because you have no idea how to style them. Or what about going to school in the morning but having a date at night, and you have no time to change your clothes? Would you accept to give your outfit a transformation by changing only a piece of clothing, some accessories, and maybe the shoes? As a girl who is very into fashion, I always have fashion dilemmas. I don't think I'm the only one, that's why I created this blog to help girls (and myself) in the same situations I've been before.
